This is a narrow crossbody shaped to take a bottle, with room beside it for a phone, a card and keys. Strap over the shoulder, hands free, nothing to put down.

Why we picked it: it is waterproof, which sounds like a detail until you have carried a bottle that sweats against your phone. Sweat and condensation are the same problem as a damp towel — they just arrive from a different direction.

What is this actually for?

Is this for beginners?

Yes. It assumes no prior setup and no particular kind of training. If you are going to the gym and then going somewhere else, it applies.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. There is a phone-friendly reference version alongside the printable one.

Why five lists instead of one?

Because a list that covers every possible day is a list you will not follow. Going straight home needs five things. Going to dinner afterwards needs more. Packing for the day you are actually having is the entire idea.

What is the Two-Zone system?

One zone for clean, one zone for dirty. If your bag has a single compartment, a drawstring or laundry bag inside it becomes the dirty zone. Worn kit, shoes and the towel go in there and nothing else does.

Do I have to buy anything else?
